UI/UX portfolios are a great medium for showing off you design skills and prior projects. The best portfolios have many similarities. The homepage is the most important section because you want to make viewers want to see more. It should include your name, occupation/title, designer statement, links/thumbnails to case studies, and navigation to other pages. Case studies are the best way to showcase your skills and process. So for the thumbnails, they should look good together and individually with similar styles, and should match the home page. The best case studies show off your thought processes, skills (hard and soft), design process, knowledge of UX methods, openness to feedback, and a desire to improve.
